Mr. Makarand Kulkarni, Director & CEO of revalyu India joined the group in 2009 as Head Sales and Marketing.   Over the years he has been instrumental in the growth of revalyu and particularly recognised as the pioneer in introducing and commercialising chemically recycled plastic globally. Revalyu recycling (earlier known as Polygenta) launched a recycled product as a superior quality premium priced sustainable product for first time in India under his leadership.

Prior to revalyu he worked with major polyester and nylon filament companies like Indorama, Century Enka, Futura Polyesters and Garden Silk Mills in India.

He has a degree in textile Engineer from VJTI, Mumbai and is a frequent speaker at various conferences and forums on PET recycling and sustainability.
